Dr. Sewanti Limaye comes to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital from Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York-USA where she worked as an Attending in Medical Oncology and Assistant Professor of Medicine. She did her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology from Albert Einstein University, North Shore- Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York. She was nominated to serve as the Chief Fellow in the final year of her fellowship. After completing her fellowship, Dr. Limaye went on to work as an Attending in Medical Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women's Hospital and at the Phase I - Early Drug Development Center - Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. She also did a Masters in Patient Oriented Research (Cancer Genomics and Biostatistics) from Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, New York. Most recently, she worked as an Attending at Columbia University Medical Center in the Medical Oncology division where she practised cancer genomics, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and cutting edge treatment with immunotherapy. Dr. Limaye has been involved in research with leaders at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Columbia University Medical Center and National Cancer Institute, USA. She has led several national and international trials and has been a part of Data Safety Monitoring Boards. Dr. Limaye is committed to the development of novel therapeutics in Solid Tumors.
