Following his graduation (MBBS) from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, he worked in the department of Cardiology at Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, and then pursued DNB in Internal Medicine and DNB in Cardiology from reputed hospitals like Jaslok Hospital and Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai respectively.
