After completing his medical education from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 1995, Dr Kulkarni went on to do a fellowship in Nephrology at the prestigious St James’ University Hospital, Leeds, UK. Here he obtained hands on training in Cadaveric Kidney Transplantation, CRRT in ICU patients and CAPD. Later he went on to do a fellowship at the Singapore General Hospital and National Kidney Foundation, Singapore that has a huge outpatient dialysis program and boasts of one of the best survival rates among dialysis patients. After spending a few years in Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad, he returned to Mumbai and has been associated with Kokilaben Ambani Hospital since 2011.
