Dr. Indoo Ammbulkar has completed MD in Medicine from Bhopal GMC in 1996 and Medical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in the year 2002. After working at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai in her initial days, she has been practicing Medical Oncology in the city of Mumbai for over 15 years.
Dr. Ammbulkar has been doing Conventional Chemotherapy, high dose Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and targeted therapy for solid Tumours and Hematological Malignancies. Her knowledge and expertise spans a vast area including treating difficult cases of young and old patients across Gynecological Cancers, Colo-rectal Cancers and Germ Cell Tumours.
She has special interest in treatment of Breast Cancer, Lymphomas and Lung Cancer. She has been one of the experts who uses Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) treatment.
She also takes keen interest in Survivor Surveillance for rehabilitation in society and removing fear of Cancer.
