Dr. Rajiv has an overall experience of over three decades. He has undergone training in HPB and abdominal organ transplantation during his 3 years of work as a Research Fellow and subsequent 5 years as a Specialist Trainee (with a National Training Number) at the HPB Unit and Institute of Transplantation at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. He is fluent speaker of English,Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil.

Dr Rajiv is a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgeon with a special interest in complex Liver surgery and all forms of Liver Transplant surgery.

Best Outgoing Student in the batch of 1995 – 96 (MS), Bangalore University.

First Rank and Association of Surgeons of India Gold Medal 1999 – MS (General Surgery).
