Dr. Neelam Mohan is a leading paediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist in India, with vast experience of 23 years. She is a B. C. Roy National Awardee, by the President of India in 2016. Dr. Neelam Mohan is a pioneer in paediatric liver transplantation in India and is credited with several firsts in the field in India. She is also credited with few global firsts in pediatric liver transplantation. She was the first in India to start therapeutic endoscopy in newborn and young children. She has authored 256 publication (106 in indexed journal, of which 76 areinternational) and 49 chapters in books. She has presented at more than 800 forums, of which more than 150 were international. Spoken by invitation at global / international conferences in most countries – USA, Europe, Canada, Japan other Asia pacific countries. She is also the author of several global and national guidelines on Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Dr. Neelam is the co-chair of STW (Standard Treatment Workflow) for Paediatrics, an endeavour of Government of India through ICMR. She is also an Advisor of National Board of Examinations. Apart from B.C. Roy Award, she has been awarded Swastha Bharat Samman by Zee Health, Vashisht Chikitsa Ratan Award by Hon. Lt. Governor of Delhi, DMA Centenary Award by Finance Minister and Dr. Sadhana International Empowerment of Women Award.
